Twenty-five renowned artists from the Middle East and North Africa have united to produce the touching musical anthem, ‘Rajieen’, as a testament to the unyielding spirit of Palestine. The musical tribute not only honours the tenacity of the Palestinian people but also serves as a potent appeal to Arab leaders to rally behind Palestine’s cause.

Names like Saif Safadi, Dana Salah, Amir Eid, and Marwan Pablo stand out among the contributors who poured their hearts into the nearly nine-minute musical journey. As the song unfolds, its poignant refrain strengthens the unified voice of the Palestinians, asserting, “Should I lose my voice, yours will remain.” Furthermore, the track’s earnings will bolster the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, ensuring a brighter future for upcoming generations.

Visual Narrative: Beyond Just Music

The music video weaves in distressing visuals from the occupied territories of Palestine juxtaposed with evocative shots of the artists, cloaked in solemn black, delivering their performance in a shadowy setting. Through these visuals, the daily tribulations and silenced sorrows of the Palestinian people are brought to the fore. A standout lyric, “We do not just stand in solidarity with the cause; we are its custodians”, is given added depth as the camera focuses on the emotive expressions of the singers.

Lastly, the video concludes by saluting the unwavering commitment of journalists and photojournalists like Wael Al Dahdouh, Wissam Nassar, and Hisham Abu Shaqra, who continue to shed light on the realities of Palestine.
