Actor Anne Hathaway’s pregnancy news drew wide attention Friday after the Oscar-winning star announced on Instagram that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
Hathaway, 43, shared a short video on her official Instagram account showing her baby bump. The post carried the caption “x Baby, I’m yours x.”
ABC News reported that a representative for Hathaway confirmed the pregnancy on Friday. Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar also reported that the child will be Hathaway and Shulman’s third.
Hathaway and Shulman, an actor and producer, have been married since 2012. They are parents to two sons, Jonathan and Jack.
The actor has kept much of her family life private and has limited public exposure of her children despite her global profile.

The announcement follows a busy work period for Hathaway, including “The Devil Wears Prada 2” and Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” according to Vogue and Vanity Fair.
