Muttahida Qaumi Movement supremo Altaf Hussain has asked the MQM Coordination Committee members to cancel protest demonstrations as the government assured him that his national identity card for overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) would be issued soon.
Therefore on the direction of their party chief, the MQM has cancelled their scheduled protest in front of Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
