Alia Bhatt’s “Alpha” crossed ₹15 crore net in India after its second day at the box office, according to early live estimates from trade website Sacnilk.
Sacnilk data showed the YRF Spy Universe film earned ₹5.87 crore net in India on Day 2 through Saturday night. The figure may change after late-night shows close.
“Alpha” opened with ₹9.25 crore net in India on Friday. The film’s two-day domestic net total stood at ₹15.12 crore, while its domestic gross reached ₹18.03 crore.
The film grossed more than ₹22 crore worldwide in its first two days, according to the same trade figures.
The second-day number marked the lowest Day 2 collection for a YRF Spy Universe film. “War 2” earned ₹57.85 crore on its second day, while “Pathaan” collected ₹70.50 crore and “Tiger 3” earned ₹59.25 crore.
“Alpha” also trailed recent films such as Rani Mukerji’s “Mardaani 3,” which earned ₹6.25 crore on Day 2. Alia Bhatt’s previous theatrical release “Jigra” collected ₹6.55 crore on its second day.

Director Shiv Rawail’s “Alpha” stars actor Alia Bhatt and actor Sharvari as the first female-led entry in the YRF Spy Universe. The cast also includes Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.
Hrithik Roshan makes a special appearance as Kabir from the “War” films. Yash Raj Films’ spy franchise also includes “Ek Tha Tiger,” “Tiger Zinda Hai,” “War,” “Pathaan,” “Tiger 3” and “War 2.”
