MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) held leads or confirmed wins in 10 second-phase seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had two, according to early unofficial AJK election results on August 3.

Polling covered eight Muzaffarabad Division constituencies and all 12 refugee constituencies on August 2. Election officials continued counting and consolidating results.

The AJK Election Commission postponed voting at all 196 polling stations in LA-27 due to landslides that blocked the delivery of staff and election materials.

It also deferred voting at 52 of LA-28’s 147 polling stations until August 4. Chief Election Commissioner Ghulam Mustafa Mughal confirmed results from five refugee constituencies.

PML-N won LA-41, LA-42, LA-43 and LA-44, while PPP secured LA-45.

First-Phase Results for All 13 Mirpur Seats

The commission formally notified the first-phase results after polling on July 27. PML-N won nine Mirpur Division seats, while PPP secured four.
