Air strike to continue against TTP groups that do not accept state writ

A high level meeting on national security was chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, COAS Raheel Sharif, DG ISI Lieutenant General Zaheer-ul- Islam and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

 Besides, National security, regional situation, Prime Minister’s visit to India and meeting with new elected Indian PM Narendra Modi was also reviewed in the session.

According to sources, It was decided in the meeting that the targeted aerial strikes will continue against those elements who do not accept the writ of the state.
