An earthquake jolted several cities of Punjab on Friday morning, terrifying people who rushed out of their houses and offices. However, there were no reports of injuries or damage. The magnitude of the quake was 3.4 on the Richter scale.
Tremors were felt in Lahore, Nankana, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and other cities. The 8:50a m temblor was centered about 2 kilometres northwest of Parachinar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
