After quitting the Pakistan Peoples Party-led government in Sindh, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Wednesday (today) decided to part ways with the government in Azad Kashmir where it has been in an alliance with the PPP.
This announcement was made by senior MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar at a press conference in Islamabad.
Sattar said his party had decided to part ways with the PPP-led governments in Sindh and in Azad Kashmir, adding that the decision was final and that there was no going back now.
“The PPP chairman did not even think how much older Altaf bhai is to him…obviously this was not the only reason and PPP’s treatment of MQM has been shameful across the board…but this was the last straw,” said Sattar.
