Uzma Zahid Bukhari, Punjab Information Minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N ) leader, responded to Barrister Saif’s remarks and suggested that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should be relocated to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

Bukhari vehemently criticized the conduct of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, equating their behaviour to that of hooligans, bullies, and TikTok users. She condemned their unmatched shamelessness and the use of foul language.

Highlighting the stark contrast in governance, Bukhari praised Mariam Nawaz Sharif’s efforts in Punjab, noting her administration’s focus on public service and initiatives that ease the lives of citizens. She challenged her critics to rival Mariam Nawaz regarding performance rather than resorting to derogatory language.

Bukhari lauded Mariam Nawaz Sharif for her inclusive policies catering to all social classes, which she claimed agitated those accustomed only to harsh rhetoric. She described the opposition as uniformly lacking in decorum, prone only to vitriolic attacks.

She expressed her disappointment with the leadership in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, indicating that the Pathan citizens deserve better than governance marred by crass language and ineffective policies. Bukhari suggested that the benefits seen in Punjab under Mariam Nawaz Sharif’s leadership should also extend to the Pathan citizens, lamenting their misfortune in having a Chief Minister who is too preoccupied with legal troubles in Adiala Jail to govern properly.

Bukhari concluded by referencing a statement from Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur during the 28th foundation day event of PTI at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House. Gandapur had spoken defiantly about the persistence of PTI’s founder chairman, Imran Khan, and the party’s readiness to challenge the government and, if necessary, take action to assert their demands in Islamabad.
