The Election Commission of Pakistan earlier today issued notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in relevance to foreign funds and advised him or his lawyer to submit a response till February 23.
Akbar S Babar had filed a petition against PTI. The petitioner maintained that PTI had accumulated $2 million from the United States and did not disclose them before EC thus violating Political Parties Order 2002.
The ECP issued notice to Imran Khan advising him to submit clarification by February 23.
