Pakistan Army said that the ongoing military onset in North Waziristan, which was barreling ahead with full momentum, had so far eliminated 327 terrorists at the cost of ten martyrdoms.

“So far 327 terrorists have been killed and 45 hideouts have been destroyed in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. Ten soldiers have also been killed in the operation”, said Asim Bajwa, Director-General (DG) Inter-Services, during a press briefing earlier today .

DG ISPR told media that registration and evacuation process of IDPs had almost been completed.

According to DG ISPR, the operation in North Waziristan is against all terrorist, including the Haqqani network.

“It is a misconception that the army is facilitating certain militant groups. There will be no discrimination in the operation and anyone who challenges the writ of the state will face the music”, Bajwa told the media.

He said Operation Zarb-e-Azb was the ‘beginning of the end of terrorism’ in Pakistan.

DG ISPR added that North Waziristan was the last stronghold of the Taliban militants and their non-native comrades.

“All the foreign militants holed up in North Waziristan will be carried off without any discrimination”, said he..

He said the enemy had been cornered by tightening the border security.
