Music has also played a role in the film’s success. The final trailer introduced the original song Zoo, co-written and performed by Shakira and Ed Sheeran. Both artists make cameo appearances as sheep, including a character named Ed Shearin.
The song Zoo debuted on October 10, 2025, while the official soundtrack followed on November 21, 2025. With record-breaking box office numbers and strong audience response, Zootopia 2 continues to set the pace for animated films worldwide.
