Zoe Viccaji‘s debut music album, Dareeche has been two years in the making. According to a press release, the album is all set to be released on the September 1 in India with Universal Music and independently by the artist in Pakistan. The album will be available online for download on iTunes worldwide and on Taazi.com in Pakistan. The CD will be available in stores in both Pakistan and India.
Dareeche is a culmination of songs written by Viccaji from the age of 15 with many life events and music genres influencing her lyrics and musical style. The venture began in 2012 at Shahi Hasan’s recording studio. ‘Dareeche’ also features Viccaji’s very popular collaboration and reinterpretation of ‘Mera Bichra Yaar’ with Strings and a renovation of the unbeatable Junoon classic, ‘Neend Aati Nahin’.
The artist also participated in Coke Studio.
