Zimbabwe Clinches Final T20I in Thrilling Chase Against Pakistan

Zimbabwe achieved a stunning victory in the final T20I of their three-match series against Pakistan, successfully chasing a 133-run target in an exhilarating finish.

Pakistan secured the series with a 2-1 lead despite this loss. The decisive match took place at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.

Choosing to bat first, Pakistan struggled early, losing three wickets for only 19 runs. Salman Agha scored 32, and Tayyab Tahir added 21, stabilizing the innings. Contributions of 20 from Qasim Akram and 22 from Arafat Minhas helped Pakistan reach a somewhat competitive total of 132.

Zimbabwe began their chase strongly, with opener Brian Bennett scoring a crucial 40 runs. Captain Sikandar Raza contributed 19 runs.

The game’s momentum shifted when Wellington Masakadza and Tinotenda Maposa advanced the chase in the final stages. Despite a challenging spell from Pakistan’s bowlers, Zimbabwe clinched the win in the last over.
