Former PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf was nominated for the Board of Governors (BoG) by PM Shehbaz Sharif. Traditionally, PM nominees are elected as PCB heads. Elections are to be held soon with 10-member BoG complete.

PCB Management Committee dissolved, and Ahmed Shehzad Farooq Rana was named acting chairman. Elections are expected within two days.

Regional representatives and department officials from BoG. The controversy between PML-N and PPP over the PCB chairman post. Sethi withdraws from the race, and Zaka is appointed a member of BoG.

Elections to bring improvements in cricket at all levels.
