Two women were reported gang-raped in Faisalabad. A 14-year-old girl, F, was raped by three men in Chak 493-GB.
According to media reports F, a ninth-grade student, was abducted by three men as she was on her way back home from a market late on Monday. “They took her to a deserted house and raped her there. They fled from the house on Tuesday morning,” claimed a relative. He said that F was being treated at a local hospital.
The Mamu Kanjan SHO said police had registered a case against the three. “We are conducting raids to arrest the accused,” he said.
In the second incident, a woman was raped by three men in Chak 81-JB.
According to the complaint filed with the Dijkot police, S* was raped by a neighbour and two unidentified men. “We have registered a case and started investigation, but no arrest has been made so far,” the SHO said.
