Major areas of Karachi descend into darkness in the wee hours of today’s morning after 12 grid stations of the port city were tripped.
Most of the localities in, Baldia, Saddar, Garden, Lyari, Orangi and Malir, SITE area and Nazimabad suffered the major power outage causing hardships for the citizens.
K-electric in a statement said that 12 out of 62 grid stations of the city have been tripped.
The repair work has been underway and the electricity to the affected areas will be restored within few hours.
