Portugal face the Democratic Republic of the Congo at Houston Stadium at 12 pm local time, 17:00 GMT and 10 pm PKT. Opta gave Portugal a 54.6% chance of winning, DRC a 23.1%, and a draw a 22.3%.
Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to lead Portugal’s attack as he chases a record of scoring in six different World Cups.
England meets Croatia at Dallas Stadium at 3 pm local time, 20:00 GMT and 1 am PKT on Thursday. Opta gave England a 55.9% chance of winning, Croatia a 20.8%, and a draw a 23.3%.
The teams meet again after Croatia beat England in the 2018 World Cup semifinal, while England won both European Championship meetings this century.
Ghana play Panama at Toronto Stadium at 7 pm local time, 23:00 GMT and 4 am PKT on Thursday. Opta gave Panama a 45.2% chance of winning, Ghana a 29.6%, and a draw a 25.2%.

Colombia face World Cup debutants Uzbekistan at Mexico City Stadium at 8 pm local time, 02:00 GMT Thursday and 7 am PKT Thursday.
Opta gave Colombia a 62.4% chance of winning, Uzbekistan a 17.5% chance, and a draw a 20.1% chance.
