Madonna, Shakira and BTS will headline FIFA’s first World Cup halftime show, with Justin Bieber joining the seven-act lineup for the July 19 final in New Jersey.
The 11-minute performance will take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford and introduce a Super Bowl-style halftime production to the World Cup final.
FIFA’s confirmed lineup also includes Nigerian singer Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and New York City’s PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin coordinated the performance.
The show will support a campaign to raise $100 million for education and football access programmes worldwide. Organisers will direct $1 from every World Cup ticket sold to the initiative.
