Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says Chinese funds will benefit Pakistan to complete its Iran-Pakistan Gas Pipeline project.
Pakistan has started construction work on seven hundred-kilometer pipeline to import liquified natural gas from China.
This was stated by Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi while talking the Voice of America.
He said the project will jointly be funded by Pakistan and China.
The Petroleum Minister said Gwadar port will be the central hub for China Pakistan Economic Corridor, which will allow Western China to gain access to warm waters.

He said Pakistan has been trying to overcome its energy crisis by importing gas from Iran but sanctions on Iran had hampered the work on the project.
