A woman committed suicide earlier today in Multan day along with her two daughters when she drank acid, after an argument with her husband.
According to details, Tayyaba Bibi, a resident of Multan’s Basti Garewal area drank acid and died. Tayyaba also forced her 2-year old daughter Minahil and 1-year old daughter Hijab to drink acid, causing both their deaths. Tayyaba had committed the gruesome act after an argument with her husband.
Family members tried to locate all three at the time of Iftar and found them unconscious in a room. Afterwards, Tayyaba’s family members called Rescue 1122. Rescue officials arrived and confirmed the death of Minahil and Hijab, while shifting Tayyaba to the Nishtar hospital in critical condition.
According to hospital sources, Tayyaba has also passed away.
