WhatsApp, a leading communications platform, is set to introduce a new voice chat mode feature that integrates Meta AI, enhancing user interaction.

WABetaInfo reports that the upcoming update will offer a more personalized and efficient communication experience.

This enhancement is designed to streamline user interactions significantly. It will provide various voice options to match user preferences, enabling hands-free communication that bypasses the need for typing. This shift aims to make exchanges more natural and quicker through voice commands.

Beta screenshots indicate users can access the voice chat via a floating action button in the chats list.

WABetaInfo highlights that this feature will facilitate smoother communication with AI, especially when typing is cumbersome.

Moreover, users can deactivate the voice chat mode, maintaining control over their privacy with an on-screen indicator that shows when Meta AI is inactive.
