After several delays due to the wildfires impacting Los Angeles, the 2025 Oscar nominations have been rescheduled, with the Academy confirming the new date.
In light of the tragedy, the ceremony honoring the highest cinematic accomplishments will continue as planned on March 2, as confirmed by Academy CEO Bill Kramer. The announcement for nominations is now scheduled for January 23.

Films like Wicked and Emilia Perez and the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown are considered strong contenders for Best Picture. Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will lead the nomination reveal, broadcast live from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
