The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will return after a four-year absence, and the 2023 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be more diversified and with a new version.
Victoria’s Secret Fashion has been featuring many iconic models, including Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, and others have participated in the show since its beginning, along with prominent models Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, and Kendall Jenner.
Timothy Johnson, Victoria’s Secret’s CFO, spoke with Paige Six regarding a press release in which they indicated they would return differently.
The 2019 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was postponed due to unfavorable press it supposedly received for missing diversity and representation.
Timothy Johnson added, “We will continue to rely on marketing expenditures to invest in the business, both at the top of the funnel and to support the launch of the new edition of our fashion show later this year.
The corporation has not disclosed many details regarding the purported “new version,” but they have indicated that it would “represent who we are today.”
The corporation contacted the news outlet with a statement declaring its “commitment to fostering women’s voices and their distinct viewpoints.”
“As we’ve stated previously, our new brand projection and mission will continue to serve as our driving principle,” they continued.
This will lead us into uncharted areas, including regaining one of our most successful marketing and entertainment products and transforming it to match who we are now. We cannot wait to unveil additional details later this year,” the statement read.
