TASHKENT, Uzbekistan: Uzbekistan has approved a USD 10.6 million gas leak project backed by the World Bank to reduce gas losses, cut methane emissions and modernise infrastructure. The programme will run from 2026 to 2028.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the measures under Resolution No. 444 dated August 18. Of the total funding, USD 9.6 million will go toward reducing gas losses.
