NASHVILLE: An Usher onstage moment ended early after fan Gabrielle Cheyenne appeared uncomfortable during a sensual routine at the singer’s July 25 concert at Nissan Stadium.
Video from The R&B Tour show showed Usher serenading Cheyenne while they sat on a bed prop during “Can U Handle It?” He moved close to her face, and she leaned away.
Usher stepped back and told the crowd that Cheyenne did not appear to want to remain onstage. He then gestured for staff to escort her away, according to People.

Cheyenne later said on Facebook that event staff had moved her and her mother from floor seats to a VIP area before the concert. She said the team did not explain which performer she would join or what the routine involved.
Cheyenne also said she primarily attended the concert to see co-headliner Chris Brown. She maintained that her reaction would have been different if Brown had performed the routine.
The fan rejected claims that she regretted the experience and criticised people who attacked her online. Her mother later shared a photograph of Cheyenne with Usher’s wife, Jenn Goicoechea, after the performance.
The Nissan Stadium event listing confirmed that Usher and Brown performed the co-headlining Nashville show on July 25. Neither singer had publicly addressed the incident.
