Tehran, Iran: US-Iran talks faced a new strain after Iranian lawmaker Mahmoud Nabavian said parliament would consider a reward for killing Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
Nabavian linked the proposal to alleged threats against Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. He serves on Iran parliament’s national security committee.
Trump warned Iran on Truth Social that “the clock is ticking.” He said Tehran must move fast or face severe consequences.
Iran said exchanges with Washington continue through Pakistani mediators. However, Iranian media said the talks remain close to an impasse.
Fars News said the US terms include transferring 400 kilograms of uranium and limiting Iran’s nuclear facilities. It said Washington also rejected war damages and blocked asset releases.
Tasnim said Iran wants sanctions relief, compensation, the release of assets and recognition of its authority over the Strait of Hormuz.
