SYDNEY, Australia: Applications for UNSW scholarships 2027 are open to international students entering eligible full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programmes in Term 1.
The University of New South Wales said its International Scientia Coursework Scholarship would cover either full tuition or A$20,000 annually for the minimum duration of the selected student’s programme.
Applicants can use the PUCA1029 application to seek consideration for several awards. These include a one-year A$10,000 Law and Justice award, an A$15,000 Business School pathways award, and an A$5,000-per-year Business School scholarship.
The application also covers scholarships worth A$10,000 annually for eligible students from Hong Kong and other parts of Asia, according to the official UNSW scholarship listing.
Candidates must be international students and hold an eligible Term 1 admission offer by the deadline. Research-degree applicants must apply through the university’s Graduate Research School instead.
UNSW will assess applicants using academic merit, leadership, extracurricular involvement and their reasons for choosing the university. Claims submitted without supporting evidence will not be assessed.

Some awards require no separate scholarship application. Eligible students can receive automatic consideration for one-year awards worth A$10,000 or A$20,000 based on their admission records.
A separate International Student Award provides eligible nationalities with a 20% tuition contribution throughout their programme, UNSW Sydney said.
The PUCA1029 application closes at 11:59 p.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time on October 30, 2026. UNSW said it would not accept late applications or supporting documents.
