UK visa applicants in Pakistan can now apply directly through the official GOV.UK website, complete forms, pay fees and book biometrics without using intermediaries.
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott said in a video message on X that Pakistani citizens should use official channels for visa applications. She said the online process had been designed to be straightforward.
Applicants can start by visiting the UK government website and selecting the “Apply to come to the UK” option. They must then choose the correct visa category, with the Standard Visitor Visa commonly used for tourism or visits to family and friends.
UK officials said applicants can submit applications up to three months before their planned travel date. The digital form requires travel plans, financial details and personal background information.
The system allows applicants to save progress and return later to complete the form. After submission and payment, applicants must book an appointment at a VFS Global centre to provide biometric information for identity verification.
