Ahead of the Eid Al Etihad (National Day) holidays, UAE airlines are rolling out attractive airfare promotions, facilitating last-minute flight bookings for travellers.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, the nation’s ultra-low-cost carrier, offers up to 30% off on flights between December 1, 2023, and March 31, 2025.

The “Pink Friday” sale highlights Wizz Air Abu Dhabi’s expanded winter schedule, which now includes Varna as a new destination. Fares start at just AED 279, with other destinations available from as low as AED 89. These deals are accessible on wizzair.com and the WIZZ app, which is now available in Arabic.

“The enhanced winter schedule increases seat capacity by 40%,” stated the airline.

Johan Eidhagen, Managing Director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, expressed enthusiasm for the holiday promotions. “With our Pink Friday offer, passengers can save up to 30% on selected flights. This, combined with our broadened winter schedule, makes it easier for travellers to plan and save on holiday getaways,” he said.

The airline provides affordable flights to several sought-after destinations, including Alexandria, Almaty, Amman, Aqaba, Baku, Belgrade, Bishkek, and Cairo.

Joining the promotional wave, India’s Air India announced its Black Friday sale, featuring up to 20% off domestic base fares and up to 12% off on international routes to the United States, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.

Air India also eliminates convenience fees on bookings made through its website or mobile app. It offers savings of INR 399 (AED 17.32) on domestic and up to INR 999 (AED 43.36) on international flights.
