In a recent conflict along Pakistan’s border with Iran, two soldiers were tragically killed during a terrorist attack on a security post in Singwan, a district of Kech in Balochistan, according to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
The ISPR reported that an armed terrorist group aggressively moved against the security post. Thanks to the vigilance of the stationed troops, the attackers were repelled. An intense firefight ensued, with the soldiers bravely using every available weapon to defend the post.
The conflict resulted in the tragic martyrdom of two courageous soldiers, Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq, 34, hailing from the district Dera Ghazi Khan, and Sepoy Inayat Ullah, 27, from the district Jhal Magsi. Both soldiers fought valiantly against the terrorists.
Following the incident, an immediate sanitization operation was initiated in the area, and communication with Iranian authorities was established to prevent any possible escape routes for the terrorists. Furthermore, the ISPR declared that the security forces, backed by national solidarity, are committed in maintaining peace and stability across Balochistan’s borders.
