In a heartbreaking incident in Hoshab, Balochistan, two dedicated army personnel were Martyred during a fierce encounter with terrorists.

The courageous soldiers who embraced martyrdom were Major Saqib Hussain and Naek Baqir Ali Bahadri. In addition, one sepoy was wounded in the brutal attack on the Combat Patrol party.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, provided details about the martyred soldiers. Major Saqib Hussain, a 31-year-old from the district of Sangarh, Sindh, is survived by his parents and wife. Naek Baqir Ali, 26, hailed from the district of Dadu, leaving behind a three-year-old daughter and wife.

The loss of these brave soldiers has only intensified the determination of the security forces in their mission to eradicate terrorism. Their courage and ultimate sacrifice further fortify the resolve of their comrades-in-arms, noted ISPR.

Recent Success Against Terrorists in Dera Ismail Khan

Before the tragic incident in Hoshab, security forces achieved significant success in their ongoing anti-terrorism operations. Just the previous day, an intense exchange of fire with terrorists in the Kulachi area of the Dera Ismail Khan district resulted in elimination of three terrorists.

The military’s media wing reported that this operation was executed based on specific intelligence in Dera Ismail Khan. The terrorists, taken down in the fire exchange, were implicated in the murders of five police personnel and involved in numerous anti-state activities.

Furthermore, the operation led to the recovery of several arms and an assortment of explosive materials from the possession of the slain terrorists. The ongoing efforts of the security forces are indeed bearing fruit in the fight against terror, despite the high cost of sacrifice.
