President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Israel regarding the West Bank annexation. In an interview with TIME magazine, he stated that Israel would lose crucial American support if it annexed the occupied West Bank.

The comments were published as two of his top officials, Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, delivered similar warnings in Israel. When asked about the consequences of annexation, Trump was direct. “It won’t happen,” he said, referring to his commitment to Arab nations that supported his administration’s peace efforts.

He added a clear threat: “Israel would lose all of its support from the United States if that happened.”

Trump also expressed confidence that Saudi Arabia would join the Abraham Accords by the end of the year. He cited a changed landscape regarding Gaza and Iran.

The Trump administration’s message was delivered directly in Israel. Vice President JD Vance concluded a three-day visit with sharp criticism of Israeli lawmakers. He called their advancement of annexation bills a “very stupid political stunt.” He firmly stated, “The West Bank is not going to be annexed by Israel. The policy of President Trump is that the West Bank will not be annexed.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio also cautioned Israel before his departure. He said annexation efforts threaten the fragile Gaza ceasefire brokered by Trump.

The high-level US visits aim to stabilise the temporary peace in Gaza. The ceasefire has involved hostage and prisoner exchanges and a partial Israeli troop withdrawal.

The simultaneous warnings from the President, Vice President, and Secretary of State highlight a unified US position. The administration views West Bank annexation as a direct risk to its broader Middle East peace plan.
