Rapper Travis Scott faced criticism after a chaotic incident at a Monaco Formula 1 after-party, where DJ and producer John Summit said his set was shut down.
The incident took place at Lilly’s Club after the Monaco Grand Prix celebrations. Summit was performing when Scott allegedly arrived and climbed onto the stage.
Videos circulating on social media appeared to show confusion around the DJ booth as security and crew members tried to manage the situation.
Summit later addressed the incident on Instagram and described the night as “out of control.”
An utterly bizarre situation last night in Monaco — after showing up more than two hours late for his scheduled set time, Travis Scott forced John Summit off stage so he could perform, cutting Summit’s set short in the process.
