Three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed in a landmine explosion in Wana district of South Waziristan tribal region on Monday.
According to security sources, three FC soldiers were critically injured last night in an IED blast at Zar Milan during a cordon and search operation, South Waziristan Agency.
Security forces surrounded the area following the blast whereas the rescue teams shifted the dead bodies to a hospital.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan paid tribute to the sacrifices by the FC personnel and has expressed his grief and condemned the terrorism incident.
