At least three dacoits were killed during a supposed encounter with police in Bahawalpur early morning today.
According to the police, the three robbers were escaping after snatching a motorcycle from a citizen near Nanday Lal area when an exchange of fire took place in tehsil Ouch Sharif.
In retaliatory fire all three accused were killed.
Police also seized weapons as well as the snatched motorcycle from their possession.
The dead bodies of robbers were shifted to the Rural Health Complex.
