Taylor Swift’s absence from her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s recent games has sparked considerable speculation.
The singer, busy with her Eras Tour, chose not to attend the Kansas City Chiefs’ last game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Los Angeles. This was the second game she missed this season.
Previously, Swift was a regular at Kelce’s games, often seen cheering from the stands. However, her recent no-shows have fueled rumours and increased curiosity about the couple’s relationship status.
Although Swift has missed games in the past due to her tour schedule, her current absences align with rumours of a potential breakup. Earlier this month, discussions surfaced about a so-called “breakup contract,” allegedly ending their relationship on September 28. Kelce’s representatives have dismissed these claims as “false.”
The rumour mill continued as fans noted Swift’s absence during Kelce’s acting debut in “Grotesquerie,” further questioning the state of their relationship.
One social media user said, “Well, anybody noticed how Taylor and Travis haven’t been seen together after September 28? (The breakup date on documents is.) No? Just me?”
While Kelce has not directly responded to the breakup speculation, he addressed critiques of his on-field performance on his podcast, New Heights. He acknowledged the pressure and expressed his commitment to improving and contributing more effectively to his team’s efforts.
“We’re finding ways to win games, but we’re not playing our best football,” Kelce stated, adding that there are areas everyone on the team can improve. He specifically mentioned a crucial dropped pass in the last game.
Fans are now watching to see if Swift will appear at the next Chiefs game, scheduled for Monday Night Football on October 7 against the New Orleans Saints.
