On June 8, 2025, Taptap Send, a leading mobile remittance platform, launched a feature allowing Pakistani expats in the US, UK, and Europe to donate directly to verified charities in Pakistan via its app. This update enhances the platform’s mission to connect diaspora communities with their homeland through secure, fast, cost-effective financial services.

Founded in 2018, Taptap Send serves users in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia, and the UAE. It offers zero transfer fees (FX rates apply) and delivery within one minute in 95% of cases, as recorded on April 20, 2025. The new feature enables users to send Zakat, Sadqah, or Qurbani donations to pre-vetted nonprofits in Pakistan, focusing on healthcare, education, and poverty alleviation.

“This reflects years of feedback from the Pakistani community,” said Saim Chaudhary, Taptap Send’s South Asia lead. “Expats want a trustworthy, direct way to give, especially during Ramazan and Eid. We’re making that easier and safer.”

All charitable partners are rigorously screened and registered, ensuring transparency and security. Users can browse organisations within the app, empowering them to make impactful contributions without intermediaries.

Taptap Send, licensed as a Money Transmitter in New York (NMLS ID: 2108069), regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, and holding an Australian Financial Services Licence (No. 559468), upholds strict compliance standards.

The feature strengthens ties between Pakistani expats and their homeland, fostering generosity and trust. For updates, visit www.taptapsend.com.
