Islamabad, Pakistan, a new T-bills investment app has been launched to let citizens invest in government Treasury Bills with a minimum deposit of Rs. 5,000.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb launched the application in Islamabad. Officials said the platform was developed through cooperation between the federal government and the private sector.
The initiative involves the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Pakistan and leading microfinance banking institutions. Officials said the app offers digital access to secure, government-backed investment opportunities.

The facility aims to expand access to government securities for ordinary citizens. Officials said it would support financial inclusion and help bring more people into the formal documented economy.
Customers must hold a bank account or mobile wallet with a private mobile company bank to use the service. After opening the account, users can download the mobile app and start the investment process.
