Stock movers on Tuesday included SpaceX and Moderna among the biggest gainers, while Intel, Planet Labs and Huntsman led notable declines.
SpaceX rose 10.02% among mega-cap names. Current market reporting said the move extended its post-IPO rally after news of a $60 billion Cursor acquisition.
Western Digital gained 6.93%, and Intel Corp. fell 5.73% after Mobileye said it would launch its own robotaxi service in a US city in 2027.
Other mega-cap decliners included KLA Corp., Marvell Technology, Advanced Micro Devices, Netflix, Micron Technology, SanDisk and Broadcom.
In large caps, CoreWeave rose 11.43% after reporting the fastest DeepSeek-V3 training in an MLPerf test. Moderna gained 10.07% after expanding Stephen Hoge’s role and naming a commercial chief.
Talen Energy climbed 7.62%, while Roblox rose 6.2% after launching age-based accounts globally for users under 16.

Planet Labs fell 8.78%, Applied Optoelectronics dropped 8.16%, Lumentum Holdings lost 7.77%, and Ciena declined 6.26%.
In mid-caps, Lionsgate Studios rose 12.11% amid takeover chatter. Eos Energy gained 9.72% after starting production at its second battery line in Pennsylvania.
Huntsman fell 16.39% after Olin and Huntsman announced an all-stock merger to form a $12 billion company.
