Ubisoft has unveiled the post-launch strategy and Season Pass details for “Star Wars Outlaws,” scheduled for release on August 30 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
The action-adventure game will include two story-focused expansions, with the first launching in late 2024 and the second in spring 2025. Season Pass holders will receive early access to a character pack and an exclusive mission featuring the iconic Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt at launch.
The developer detailed the game’s post-launch roadmap in a recent blog post. At launch, Season Pass holders will receive the Kessel Runner character pack, which includes outfits for protagonist Kay Vess and her companion, Nix. They will also get access to an exclusive mission titled “Jabba’s Gambit,” in which Kay is tasked with a quest from Jabba the Hutt.
The narrative continues in the fall of 2024 with the first expansion, “Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card.” This expansion will follow Kay Vess as she infiltrates a high-stakes Sabacc tournament and encounters Star Wars legend Lando Calrissian. Season Pass holders will also receive the Hunter’s Legacy Bundle and the Cartel Ronin Bundle, which offer new outfits for Kay and Nix and cosmetics for Kay’s speeder and ship.
The second expansion, “Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune,” slated for release in spring 2025, will introduce Kay to veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka. Both story expansions will be accessible to Season Pass holders and available for separate purchase.
“Star Wars Outlaws” will be available on Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store for PC, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. The game is currently open for pre-orders on all platforms, with pre-order benefits including the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack, which features additional cosmetics for Kay’s speeder and ship.
