KARACHI, Sindh: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) halted supplies in six areas for 12 hours on Saturday night. The SSGC gas suspension supports commissioning of a new 16-inch pipeline.
The interruption began at 10 p.m. on Aug. 1 and will continue until 10 a.m. on Aug. 2. SSGC announced the schedule on social media platforms.
The new pipeline runs from Abul Hassan Isphani Road to Gulshan-e-Maymar. Crews will transfer all relevant Town Border Stations (TBSs) along the route to the line.
The shutdown covers Gulshan-e-Maymar, Abul Hassan Isphani Road, Metroville and Al-Asif Square. It also affects parts of Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Scheme 33, the company said.
