As Ramadan approaches, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced limited gas availability for the holy month, specifically during the critical hours of Sahar (3:00 am to 9:00 am) and Iftar (3:00 pm to 10:00 pm). This adjustment will result in 13 hours of gas supply daily for consumers in Sindh and Balochistan.
In response to potential disruptions, Sindh’s Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, has issued directives to electricity distribution companies, including K-Electric, HESCO, and SEPCO, to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Sahar and Iftar times throughout Ramadan.
The Chief Minister’s initiative aims to mitigate the impact of gas load-shedding by securing a stable electricity supply for residents during the holy month.
