ISLAMABAD: A Srinagar Highway collision killed two motorcycle riders, including a woman, on Monday after speeding cars allegedly struck their bike.
Islamabad Police reported that two cars were travelling at high speed before hitting the motorcycle. Both riders died at the scene.
Police confirmed that one driver fled after the collision. Police took one vehicle into custody and opened an investigation.
Authorities moved the victims’ bodies to a hospital for legal procedures. Police had not released their identities by the time of publication.

Investigators were examining the vehicles and collecting evidence to reconstruct the crash. The authorities had not officially confirmed street racing as the cause. The racing claim, therefore, remains under investigation.
