“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” could earn between $135 million and $140 million during its second domestic weekend, lifting its 10-day total as high as $650.8 million.
The Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios release remained at No. 1 across 4,487 theaters. Industry estimates published Friday, August 7, included revenue from newly available IMAX screens.
A $650.8 million total would place the film about 5% ahead of “Avengers: Endgame” at the same stage of release. The 2019 Marvel blockbuster finished its initial domestic run with $858.3 million.
The Tom Holland and Zendaya film collected $510.1 million during its first seven days, according to The Numbers. It reached $500 million one day faster than “Avengers: Endgame.”
The film had earned $1.216 billion worldwide before its second weekend. That figure included $706.3 million from international markets.

Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” held second place with an estimated $28.5 million from 3,603 theaters. The result would raise its domestic total to $458.1 million.
Universal’s romantic comedy “One Night Only” opened in third place with an estimated $6 million from 3,012 theaters. Will Gluck directed the film, which stars Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro.
Disney’s “Toy Story 5” followed with a projected $4.3 million. Searchlight’s “Super Troopers 3” also targeted a $4 million opening.
Weekend figures remain estimates until studios release their final domestic totals.
