Online content creator Sophie Rain has made a significant charitable donation, contributing $121,000 to the non-profit organization Feeding America. The 21-year-old stated the gift was motivated by her own past experiences with food insecurity.

Rain donated the total amount she earned in a single day to a charity that works to provide meals for families across the United States.

In an interview with People magazine, Rain explained that her generosity stems from a deeply personal place. She revealed that her family faced significant financial hardship when she was younger.

“I know what it’s like to open the fridge and have almost nothing. I know what it’s like to see your parents stress about food and have to choose between paying rent or feeding the family,” Rain told the publication.

She described coming from a modest background, where her Christian family often relied on food stamps to make ends meet. Rain emphasized that this donation is not a one-time event. She has committed to continuing her support for families in need as long as she has the means to do so.
