At least six people of a family including both women and children were stabbed to death in Sohal Kalan area in Sheikhupura district of Punjab province.
Unidentified armed men stormed into the house located in Sohal Kalan area early morning today morning and stabbed to death six persons and fled the scene after throwing the bodies in a nearby field.
A passerby spotted the bodies and informed the police. The police reached the area and shifted the bodies to local hospital for medico legal formalities.
The deceased persons include two brothers, their wives and two children, however, victims identity could not be ascertained till immediately.
The cause behind the killing incident could not be ascertained. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
