Karachi, Sindh: The Government of Sindh has revised the Sindh salary pension schedule, allowing government employees and pensioners to receive payments before the start of each month.

According to a notification issued by the Accountant General of Sindh, monthly salaries for government employees will now be disbursed on the 25th of every month instead of the 1st.

Pension payments for retired employees will be transferred on the 26th of each month. Supplementary and additional payments will be processed on the 29th of every month.

The notification said General Provident Fund payments and other outstanding dues will be processed between the 6th and 16th of each month. An additional processing date has been set for the 20th.

The Accountant General of Sindh directed all concerned government departments to submit payroll documents on time. The notification said timely submission will help ensure smooth and uninterrupted fund transfers.

Officials said the new arrangement will ensure beneficiaries receive their payments before the new month begins. They said the measure is expected to provide relief amid rising inflation.
