Srinagar: Arrest of Hurriyat leader Masarat Alam and continuous aggression of the Indian army in occupied Kashmir led to a shutter-down strike in the valley on Saturday.
Hurriyat leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq gave the call for strike to protest against the Indian aggression. A protest rally was taken out which was also attacked by Indian army resulting in death of a youth.
14 Kashmiris were injured on Friday when Indian army opened fire on a protest rally in Srinagar.
On Friday, Pakistan Foreign Office condemned the violence and asked India to stop the aggression in the occupied Kashmir.
