Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Shubman Gill couldn’t stop raving about Mohammed Siraj’s match-turning spell after a slick seven-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday at Uppal Stadium.
In GT’s third consecutive victory, Gill highlighted the often-overlooked contributions of bowlers. “People hype big hitters, but bowlers win games. Siraj’s energy is unreal,” he remarked after the match. This defeat left SRH struggling with their fourth straight loss, while GT’s most convincing win propelled them to second place on the points table.

A partnership of 50 runs between Nitish Kumar Reddy, who scored 31 off 34 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen, who contributed 27 off 19 balls, helped stabilize the innings. Pat Cummins added a late flourish with an unbeaten 22 runs off just 9 balls, bringing SRH to a total of 152/8.
